ATLANTA, Georgia — Radix Health announced today that it has been chosen out of over 1,000 applicants as one of the top 34 rising star technology companies in the Southeast that will present on stage at Venture Atlanta 2018. The 11th annual Venture Atlanta, the Southeast’s premier event for connecting technology innovation and investment capital, will be held October 16-17 and will be attended by over 140 funds and over 900 technology entrepreneurs, investors and executives from across the country.
Radix Health will share the stage with an impressive lineup of other technology innovators as well as expert speakers including keynotes delivered by former NetSuite CEO Zach Nelson and Dave DeWalt, former CEO of FireEye, McAfee, and Documentum. Tech Square Labs, Atlanta technology innovation hub, will return as the event’s premier sponsor. Techstars will help kick off the conference on October 15 with Techstars Atlanta 2018 Demo Day in partnership with Cox Enterprises.
“We are excited to present Radix Health’s Dynamic Appointment Scheduling for Healthcare (DASH) at Venture Atlanta this year,” stated Dr. Arun Mohan, CEO and Co-Founder of Radix Health. “Atlanta has a growing innovation ecosystem and we are excited to collaborate with others in the industry to reduce patient access challenges that patients and providers face.”
Radix Health was chosen as one of 34 selected presenting companies from a large pool of applicants that represent the region’s most innovative tech businesses. Radix Health brings together data scientists, engineers, and health care professionals to apply leading-edge technologies to solve issues around patient access that reduce cost, and enhance the patient and provider experience. With it’s DASH suite of solutions, it enables providers to improve scheduling operations, automates online patient scheduling, reduces wait-times, and increases patient satisfaction.
“For eleven years, Venture Atlanta has been connecting the Southeast’s best and brightest innovators with top-tier investors and other leaders in our technology ecosystem—helping to launch over 400 companies and secure over $2.6 billion in funding,” said Allyson Eman, executive director of Venture Atlanta. “This year, we’re thrilled to be showcasing the strongest and largest roster yet of both early and venture-stage companies. These companies reflect the incredible pool of talented people and continued opportunities for growth and innovation within our technology community.”
During the two-day event, presenting companies and conference attendees will engage with regional as well as national venture capitalists, investors and other key players in the current technology landscape. The conference results in funding, national investor exposure, invaluable relationship-building and mentoring by successful technology executives. In addition to the 34 presenting companies and lineup of expert speakers, attendees will have an opportunity to network with and learn plans for over 30 selected Venture Atlanta startup “showcase companies” to watch.
